Hey there! It's Thomisia from the DCWV Social Media Design Team. I hope everyone is having a great start to summer! Today, I want to share a couple of cards that I made using the DCWV "Whimsical Fun" Stack. This stack is filled with fun patterns in pretty colors.
Hello, DCWV friends! Did you hear the news? DCWV is releasing some new stacks at AC Moore stores! The stacks are all full of some amazing prints. They are also introducing some new iridescent and pearl touches! Today I am working with the new DCWV Minty Lace stack! I really love the iridescent touches throughout this stack. I really waned to highlight the finish by choosing a print for the background of the card.
Hi everyone – it’s Social Media Design Team member Karen, and I have a little card and cupcake container to share today. There really is something special about Boho! Light, airy, pretty, playful – when it comes to this style, what’s not to like?! Now, while I just cannot seem to pull of this style in my own wardrobe, the new Boho Style stack from DCWV certainly makes it easy to add it to my crafting! Lately, I have been really drawn to the journaling tags inside the DCWV stacks. While I love doing my own hand lettering on cards, DCWV has done a great job capturing sentiments that are just perfect for cards.
Hello beautiful stack fans! Lisa Lahiff here today from the Social Media Design Team here with a new layout using the newly released Coastal Stack! This stack is stunning and contains gorgeous pearl foiling throughout the designs… be still my heart! It's one of those stacks where you just want to hoard the pretty foiling and get giddy flipping through it over and over again (or is that just me? Hehehe!). Alas, I knew this paper needed to be used and shared so here is a layout I've created with it… This stack is available at your local A. C.
Hi everyone, Jeri here!! First off, I want to wish everyone out there a Happy Father's Day! In commemoration of the big day, I wanted to share this layout I made and congratulate my brother on his second baby. He is such an amazing father, and his boys are so lucky to have him!! Introducing the newest member of our family. .
Good morning all! Beth from the DCWV Social Media Design Team here with you today with a masculine birthday card based off of this month's Stackaholic Challenge sketch. I really enjoyed using the Maps, Text & Ledgers stack to create this vintage card. It is such a great vintage stack! I layered the patterned papers with brown cardstock from DCWV's Neutrals Cardstock stack.
Hello! This is Sukie from the Social Media Design Team sharing my first project as a DT member for DCWV! I am super excited and honored to be part of such a talented DT! Today I am sharing a single page 12x12 layout created with the Confetti Stack (available at Jo-Ann Stores). This stack is a festive assortment of prints and is perfect for celebratory projects. The solid coordinating papers are from the Jewel-Tone Textured stack.
Hello friends! Happy Tuesday to you! How is your *almost* summer coming along? We have a local celebration (Strawberry Days) that is happening this week and we look forward to it every year! Once that is over and the strawberries and cream are cleaned up, the 4th of July is right around the corner! Did you enjoy our bag giveaway last month? We had so much fun putting that together for you! While most of them were able to be claimed by some of you, there were a few that went unclaimed (no one ended up coming on the first or the repeat day(s)), and those will be donated. We hope to share some of those details with you in the coming week! Speaking of, we learned a lot during those couple of weeks—how to have fun, how to do it right and how to do it better. We were always so excited to see who would show up, whether we were there waiting for you or not! Thanks for the fun adventure! We have an announcement we want to share with you! We've had some shifting on our design team and wanted to make things official.
When I had my two little girls, I was already an avid crafter. But having them introduced me to a whole new happy world of scrapbooking and memory keeping – a part of paper crafting that is still near and dear to my heart. Interestingly enough, by the time they were 3 and 4, I was also introduced to another small niche in paper crafting – treat containers! I realized how much I loved leaving them little treats, and wrapping them up in fun papers and shapes just seemed to make sense to me! So today, I wanted to share with you one of my most favourite treat containers – the chocolate bar slider (or candy bar slider as I am told my America friends call them)! Now, these sliders are not just cute covers for the bar! Simply pull up gently on the ribbon (without untying), and the chocolate bar slides right out while still staying securely attached to the cover you create with the paper! It’s like a little bit of paper crafting magic! These little sliders are as cute as can be, especially when you are using a fun and eclectic stack like Birds and Butterflies (available at Jo-Ann).
Hello wonderful crafty friends! Lisa Lahiff here today from the DCWV Social Media Design Team, and I am sharing a layout I've created using the Gilded Paper Stack, Luxe Lodge Stack, Stateside: Jounaling Tag Stack and the 6” x 6” Cork Stack… This layout commemorates a Father's Day in the past that still stands out to me. We are not the typical "go fishing as a whole family" type of people. Don't get me wrong, my husband and I have taken the kids several times to go fishing as my husband loves it, but as far as my larger family, we've never really done more than the typical golfing and grilling-type of Father's Day.
Good morning all! Beth from the DCWV Social Media Design Team here with you today for some Father's Day inspiration! I love creating cards that are specific to the loved one I am sending it to. This first one is for my fun-loving Father-In-Law. He absolutely loves classic cars and going to car shows, so I knew it would be perfect for him! This card features the amazing papers in the Treasures stack (available in Michaels stores).

Hi everyone! It’s Social Media Design Team member Karen, and I have a bit of a “continuation” post for you today! A couple of months ago, I shared a post in which I showcased a bunch of masculine cards I had made with the Treasures stack available at Michaels. I have confession to make – I was holding out on a few! Once I got started with the stack, I had a hard time stopping, even though I typically find masculine-themed cards and projects difficult! This stack was so much fun to work with that I got all of the birthday cards done for the men in my life, as well as the pair that I wanted to share with you today – a couple of fun Father’s Day cards. For this set, I decided to work with the fun typewriter key patterned paper from the stack.
Happy Tuesday! Is it just me or does today feel more like a Monday? Hello this is Yolie from the Social Media Design Team sharing a card using The Watercolor Stack. The stack is available at Jo-Ann and seriously, with the amazing sales online or at your local store, I would grab a stack or two before they run out! The gorgeous designs on this stack paired with gold foiling are totally amazing! I used the cutout sheet and used the "really really like you" for my card. This is the inside of the card.
Hi DCWV friends! It's Jaclyn joining you on the blog today. I, like many of the other design team girls, have really been enjoying working with the new Watercolor stack available at Jo-Ann. It is so summery and tropical! I especially love that it makes me look like a master of watercolors, when I'm definitely not.
Hello beautiful and handsome crafty friends! It is Lisa Lahiff here from the DCWV Social Media Design Team. I have a fun layout to share with you today that just screams summer. I simply can not get enough of the Watercolors Stack (available at your local JoAnns or online!), so I decided to just play some more with this stack and some photos of my children at the beach.
